Senior Nutrition Meals
Sponsored by Nutrition Services, Inc. Meals in the dining room at the Community Center, are served Monday, Tuesday,Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Meals on wheels are available daily. Anyone over 60 qualifies. For reservations call 965-2746 or 965-2440 before 10 a.m. Good food and fellowship.

50 plus club
Meets 2nd Tuesday each month, following the noon meal, at the Community Center Alcoholics Anonymous
Meets Wednesday at 8:15 p.m. at the Kensington Community Center dining room .

American Legion
Meets the 3rd Monday of each month at the Kensington Community Center.

American Legion Auxiliary
Meets the 3rd Monday of the months March, April, May, September and October at 8 p.m. at the Kensington Community Center.

Tuesday Night Whist
The Kensington Whist Club meets every Tuesday at the Kensington Community Center. Doors open at 7 p.m. and play starts at 7:30. Coffee and snacks served and everyone is welcome.

Meets Wednesday at 9 a.m. at the Community Center.---

Fire Department

Meets the second Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. at the Fire Hall

Community Events Runestone Days June 15, 16, and 17, 2012

An annual summer event for the whole family.
The Kensington Area Heritage Society will have an exhibit "A town at it's Stone" (located in the old creamery building).
.Friday is a pork chop feed sponsored by the Boy Scouts. The Miss Runestone Pageant is at 7 p.m Friday, followed by children's events on main street.
The evening will end with a fireworks display.
Saturday is a pancake breakfast served by the Lions club, fishing tournament, garage sales, craft sales, childrens art and craft projects,, golf tournament and a co-ed softball tournament, talent show at 3 and supper sponsored by the Farwell Celebration committee.
The Big Street Dance is Saturday night.
Sunday is an all faith church service at Runestone Park.
A pork chop feed at noon, followed by the main parade.
A Classic Car Show is on Sunday, the Norsman Baseball Team have a game, and the popular antique tractor pull is held following the parade.
Solem Lutheran church is sponsoring an ice cream social
It is the 125th anniversery of Kensington
An all school reunion is planned.
